I love cords for Fall/Winter. My go-to cords for the last few years have been AG Angels, but they’re starting to show wear (holes at the pocket corners, ugh), so they’ll probably be relegated to around-the-house or dog-walking pants this year. I love the fit of the Angels (bootcut); I think they’re very flattering on me, and the 98/2 cotton/lycra blend is the perfect amount of stretch, but I think I’ll go for these Low Rise Bell Cords from the Gap this year.
First, I can get two pairs of these cords for the price of one pair of Angels, and second, I love the fit of these. I haven’t tried the cords yet, but I did try on the jeans and thought the fit was great (for Gap jeans). There was significant waist gap on me, but that’s normal for lower to mid-end jeans, and I’m willing to accept that for the price. I also love the colors. I’ll probably stick with the first two, but I am drawn to the orange pair on the right – so fun!
