In contrast to last weekend, I shopped, but didn’t buy. I did find a lot to obsess over though:
TEXTILE by Elizabeth & James tunic – it doesn’t really look like much here, but I kid you not, it took my breath away when I spotted it at Nordstrom. It’s definitely not worth $195, but when it goes on sale for 50% off, I’ll be all over it…
James Perse tee – I NEED THIS COLOR.
And I did lie about not buying anything – I did buy this cropped jacket at Madewell Friday night after meeting Sydney & Sharon for some drinks & apps at our favorite shopping spot…and it was only $19. $19!!!! It’s really cute on, I can’t wait to wear it with dresses.
And I’m now in love with this necklace that Sydney bought at J Crew – AND I think this will be my new tote – it’s clean, easy, has lots of space, and GREAT inside + outside pockets:
OH…and also, thanks to Sydney, I’m absolutely ENGROSSED in the Hunger Games books by Suzanne Collins. I read the first one Saturday afternoon, and now I’m just about finished with the second. They’re amazing.
What did you do this weekend?
Love how you tried to slip that little, “Oh and I lied about not buying anything…” into the conversation 😉 If someone could sound out of breath while typing, then that’s how you sound!! A little excited about the new purchase? I don’t blame you. And I love Sydney’s JCrew necklace. It’s fall–Go for it!!
That is an amazing deal on the sweatshirt blazer! I want to get the blue one. And I love your choice of tote. I’ve been a little obsessed with J.Crew lately, filling my shopping cart with cute silk camis for work. 🙂
I really like the Elizabeth and James tunic. I like that whole line, but own nothing from it yet. $195 does seem like a lot for a tunic, but the good thing is, its a nuetral colour and you can style it a lot of different ways. Fingers crossed that you find it again when its half price!
