I’ve been pretty intrigued by these Elizabeth & James Moccasins since I first saw them (they were originally available in haircalf, which I’m not so crazy about. I like these leather “snakeskin” embossed shoes better):
Then today, these Tory Burch Moccasins became available for pre-sale at Plaza Too:
I really prefer the Elizabeth and James moccs because of their simplicity, but I like the low vamp on the Tory Burch moccs (I appreciate a little toe cleavage). I’m not a fan of suede shoes though…and I think the gold logo plate on the toe might “date” the Tory Burch shoes.
Anyway, the $270+ price tag is prohibitive right now, and I think a little over the top (I’m predicting we’ll see both shoes on sale in the next six months), so I’m not buying now. But I will admit that I’m kind of liking the idea of sporting a moccasin this Fall….
What do you think? Which do you prefer? Will you be wearing moccs this Fall?
i swear by my super comfy minnetonkas, and you can also get the original quoddy mocs at a fraction of the price…i personally think the TB and EJ mocs are overpriced…
