I’ve been following Kindred Black on Instagram and getting their emails for a while now, and I ALWAYS click through to see more. As an “online destination for eco-luxury lifestyle goods,” Kindred Black is full of interesting, sometimes one-of-a-kind items that are sourced with an eye towards sustainability, heritage, and quality, among other things. Everything is also beautiful, and exactly what I’d want to surround myself with everyday, if I could afford it!
Kindred Black is a retail studio sourcing and curating luxury lifestyle goods that are eco-responsible, craftsman produced, and ethically manufactured. We believe style and design should not have to be compromised for eco-responsibility. We should have more options to make socially and environmentally conscious decisions about what we buy.
As it is, I’m satisfied for now just collecting inspiration from browsing the site, and I’ve also been exposed to lots of new designers/brands. They have a very well-stocked apothecary, full of things that purport to beautify our skin, but would also look equally beautiful on our bathroom counter tops. Frankly, I’m overwhelmed by all the natural/organic skincare out there, and can never quite figure out what to try, but when it’s highly curated like this, I find it a little easier to navigate. I do still have a VERY hard time making a decision what to try…(although I am very interested in trying this neck firming cream).
I’m also enjoying more “general store” type online shops lately, where I can browse through home items, objects, AND fashion pieces; Kindred Black is one of my favorites. As is The Line. I’m interested more and more lately in “decorating” my home with pieces that resonate with me and that are beautiful, rather than just what I need.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy Kindred Black as much as I do, and if you have any other ideas for shops/brands to feature in Sustainable Life: Where to Shop, please let me know!!
More things I love from Kindred Black:
