It’s sale season in case you hadn’t noticed. I have moved away from posting about so many sales and coupons because I don’t like to encourage rampant consumerism (especially when things are on sale – I have a bad track record buying things for price instead of love), but I do love to get a good deal on things I would pay full price for anyway. Here are some things on sale, or with a coupon, I have had my eye on, or have already in my wardrobe:
Shopbop sale (prices marked) –
Rag & Bone Roman cardigan | $315 (I have the size small – outfit)
Robert Clergerie platform sandals | $288 (I have these!! highly recommend!!!)
Mara Hoffman organic cotton sweater | $245 (I don’t have this, but I am tempted!)
Rag & Bone/JEAN dre jeans (100% cotton) | $157 (these are on my list to round out my denim wardrobe – I love the dre style, and that these are non-stretch…)
Robert Clergerie slingback sandals | $435 (UGH. I love these so much, but white shoes….get so dirty…) – also check Net-a-Porter for great sale prices on Robert Clergerie

Rag & Bone Cigarette jeans | $157 (I just bought these in a different color…they’re amazing)
Rachel Comey – 30% off
Need Supply – up to 40% off
I’m not buying anything…I would have maybe got a simple cotton cropped sweater at Rachel Comey but it sold out. What about you? Anything catching your eye?
Ever since I saw those Raquel Allegra Easy Pants on you I have been obsessed… I might have to jump for these on sale! You said you wear a size 2 in them, right? I wear the same size as you (28-ish) but am 5’7″, so trying to figure out how these will work for me.
i got the size 2 only because they came through slowre 😉
if i was buying a pair, i might try the size 1 though…the 2 gets really slouchy/big while wearing. not that i mind much, they’re supposed to be “easy”, but i would want to try a different size i think.
ugh. sorry, i know that doesn’t help much LOL
oh, and i had them hemmed A LOT, so they’re definitely long enough for you!!
Okay, thanks! They don’t have numerical sizes listed, only XS-L. I’m assuming the 1 is S, and 2 is M?
Thanks for noting the slouch factor — I like a slimmer fit, so that is definitely important to me!
oh…yes, so 1 is small 2 is medium…
i think you should try the 1. and if they don’t work i’ll take them!! 🙂 either for me, or for slowre LOL
Ha! Then we could just do a swap 🙂
That striped linen dress from Japan…drool.
Dammit Grechen! I totally want to buy it now lol. What did I say in my last post comment – “how many oversized linen dresses does one need?”.
well…do you have a striped one?? 😉
just kidding, i know what you mean!!
i guess if i feel like i have “too many” of something, but find a similar one that I really like, i make myself get rid of one of the other ones to make room for the new one. if there’s not one i want to get rid of, then maybe i don’t really want to add the new one? because once i add a new one, i won’t want to wear one of the “older” ones as much…if that makes sense. it does to me LOL – as i try to rationalize it
