In addition to the small businesses/designers I wrote about yesterday, I wanted to bring your attention to two of my most favorite recent acquisitions from small designers/boutiques: my Janessa Leone hat from Aro (purchased with credits there) and Scarf Shop wool cloud scarf from Garmentory (also purchased with credits).

Also, you’ve seen this hat before, but now that I’ve had it a week or so, I think I’m beginning to see the allure & brilliance of a hat; I want more now – specifically this one, also by Janessa Leone (I tried it on when I was in the store).  I can extend not washing my hair an extra day now, and did just that on Wednesday before Thanksgiving, which is when I wore this with my Everlane cashmere cardigan.  Honestly, I still felt a bit weird in the beginning, but got used to wearing a hat over time.  It helped that I got a couple of very nice compliments as well!
