I took a medium, but still had to pull it up and cinch the waist in a lot. But that way it hangs wonderfully over my hips (I don’t even have to wear spanx with this dress…and I pretty much ALWAYS wear spanx to hold my hips/thighs in). The jersey is medium-weight also, so it’s not see-through, and it drapes nicely. I highly recommend this dress!!
