Reformation is having a CRAZY sale right now – up to 50% off a huge selection of items, including great summer dresses that could probably also work well for NYE or holiday party dresses. Just saying…
All items are final sale, and I only have one Reformation dress, which I LOVE LOVE LOVE. I find most of their pieces to be rather “sexy,” and I had to sew up the side slits on my dress a bit, but I honestly couldn’t be happier with it now; it’s incredibly versatile, and of course, I love that it’s made from entirely surplus fabric.
A little about Reformation if you’re not familiar with the company:
At Reformation, fashion and sustainability coexist. Created in 2009 by Yael Aflalo, we design and manufacture limited-edition collections in our own factory. Located in downtown Los Angeles, we manufacture most of our products in our own sustainable sewing factory. By cutting out the middleman and selling online and in our own boutiques, we eliminate traditional retail markups. We source sustainable fabrics and vintage garments, and incorporate sustainable practices throughout our supply chain to make beautiful styles at a fraction of the environmental impact generated by most fashion brands. From our heat-reflecting roof and use of renewable energy, to the recycled hangers in our stores and 100% recycled packaging for every order shipped, sustainability is core to our business at every level. It is our goal to raise awareness around the impact fashion has on the environment and at the same time offer sustainable solutions and choices. It is our mission to lead and inspire a sustainable way to be fashionable
Their Jenkins Dress is really pretty. If only I knew how their sizes fit, especially since the Jenkins has a fitted cut.
i would have thought their sizing ran small, but as it turns out, i ordered a medium petite in the dress i got over the summer and they sent me the small. which was plenty big/sized perfectly.
that dress is so beautiful. i guess if i were going to order it, i’d go for a size 8 and keep my fingers crossed it’d fit 😉 – in this case, i sort of wish they did s,m, and large sizing – it’s easier!
it couldn’t hurt to contact them and see if they can provide any guidance.
