I have been delinquent in posting this review, but I have already worn this necklace to death since receiving it! The seaglass necklace by Jessica Lee is just the pop of color I need for my mostly black, grey, and white wardrobe.
Jessica Lee handcrafts this necklace (and her other seaglass items like earrings and bracelets) from glass she’s found along the California coast. I love this idea; giving new life to discarded items. This, combined with the fact that you’re supporting a female entrepreneur (both in Jessica Lee, and in Melinda, of Artworks Jewelry) is what makes this piece special and worthy of heavy rotation in your jewelry lineup.
Here’s a picture of the necklace from Artworks Jewelry‘s website:
And here it is on me:
And in a couple of outfit pictures:
It’s hard to see from the outfit pictures, I know, but this necklace always gets lots of comments. I love the sterling silver with the glass, and the colors of the glass are just perfect. I do wish the chain was a little longer; I’d like it to hang down an inch or so more…but maybe I have a unusually large neck, because 17″ sounds long enough! Anyway, it totally works, and I really like it with the crew neckline of the orange Lizzie Parker top.
