Outfit: The Opposite of Yesterday

Haha! So today is kind of windy and in the low 80’s, so I decided to go with jeans & my favorite cardigan EVER:

I WON something!! I never win anything, but recently I won a $500 GC to L’effrontee by signing up for their newsletter. Jennine did a photo-shoot in the NYC shop and I became obsessed with the Angel Jackson bags, so imagine my excitement when I discovered that I could have one of my own!! I haven’t actually used the bag yet, it’s VERY small for me, and not super-practical for daily use, but tonight I’m meeting Pamela and some other friends for an evening out and I’ll definitely use it! But isn’t it gorgeous? I love the colors/pattern/texture.

Oh, and speaking of Instagram, I’m going to be on VACATION next week. You heard me, a real vacation. No computer, no work. My fiance and I are taking off to Alaska for some R&R – neither one of us has taken any time off work in at least 8 years. I will be posting LOTS of pictures via Instagram (it’s an iphone app, and my username is grechen) and they’ll also be posted automatically to Twitter if you follow me there. I’m going to try and schedule a few posts here and there (A review of the new “Parisian Chic” book for one) but I can’t guarantee something for everyday. I hope you’ll be here when I get back 🙂 I’ll miss you!!

    Oh, that sounds like so much fun!! You and your fiance have a wonderful time….and DON’T worry about work. (I know, easier said than done.) I think those jeans make your legs look long and I am in LOVE with that bag! It is like it has different personalities: Day bag–spiffs up whatever you’re wearing; Statement bag–no one is going to miss THAT lovely!!; Night bag–wear it out and sling it over your shoulder and no worries! Lucky you, Grechen!!

    First of all, what the heck is up with the wind!! It’s getting really hard to wear dresses- I’ve flash multiple groups of people just walking outside. Second, I am so excited for your trip! I can’t wait to see the pictures you post, and I hope y’all have a great time. Eight years is way too long to wait for a vacation 🙂

    thanks!! the necklace is by chan luu and I got it from Otteny.com – it’s sold out now and i haven’t been able to find it online anywhere. not even their own site
