The best thing about this outfit? Pockets. Nice, deep pockets for tissues. Seems I’ve come down with something the last few days. Maybe the flu? I’m not sure, but it feels bad enough to be the flu. But this Everlane cardigan? Miraculous. And the only thing really holding me together right now. Mostly because of the pockets. I need multiple tissues with me AT ALL TIMES. But also, it’s amazingly warm and cozy. So warm that I really didn’t even need the scarf once I was out.
But yeah. What a way to end the year. Because of this, I wasn’t able to reach my goal of completing 500 Pure Barre classes by 12/31, but I’m not dwelling on that. Too much, anyway. I did bust my butt for months so I could make that happen, and I was looking forward to having that milestone under my belt, or sticky socks, as it were, but no big deal. Sometimes you have to know when to take a break and cut yourself some slack. Now is that time.
Anyway, I’ll be ringing in the new year asleep and medicated I hope, and looking forward to feeling better next year 😉
Hope you have a good one. See you on the flip side.
I hope you feel better soon. Happy New Year !!
I hope you feel better soon. I’m sick too so I feel your pain. Fresh squeezed orange and ginger juice are helping some tho 🙂
Oh no! Sorry to hear that you’re not well. Wishing you a speedy recovery and a Happy New Year!
Thank you for all the inspirational outfits, shopping tips and insightful reflections this past year – looking forward to what 2015 brings!
Happy New Year! I’m sick too… BOO.
Ashley´s last blog post ..My Favorite Looks of 2014
We need to start a club for all the fabulous folks who are sick during the holidays! At least it takes the pressure off to ‘have plans” for this evening, right? Here’s hoping the new year brings you a quick recovery and lots more inspiration for your blog. It has been such a great resource for me this year as I struggled with over-shopping and a fledgling quest for minimalism. Thanks for all the ideas you have shared, and I’ll look forward to following your journey in the new year!
you look so stylish. I hope you feel better soon.
All the best in 2015!

Boo – hope you feel better soon! I love a good hot toddy when I’m feeling sick. Even if it doesn’t make me *healthier*, it makes me feel better! Thank you for this blog – I don’t necessarily consider myself a minimalist or a James Perse fan, but that doesn’t matter – I have learned & engaged reading your blog & your commenters & for that I am thankful! Finding your blog really added to my 2014, and I look forward to 2015.
Happy New Year, and feel better soon. My husband spend 3 hours at the doctor to find out he has pneumonia. We are home too.
Happy New Year, Grechen! Sick here, too. And I had so many things I wanted to do this week! Ah, c’est la vie! There’s always next week.
thank you kelly!!!!
