Ah…at least the sun is out. We still have snow on the ground where the sun doesn’t shine, because it’s still very cold out, but I’ll take it. I’m so pleased with my new Sundry top; and I can’t wait to wash it, actually – it’ll get softer and slouchier I think. And I spent a lot of time yesterday since we were basically snowed in, in my closet trying on spring outfits with my new Rachel Comey wedges to make sure I REALLY REALLY want to keep them. I do. They are phenomenal, and completely transform my outfits.
I know, I know, heels always elongate the leg and make you look taller (obvi) and leaner, but that’s not always what I’m going for with my outfits. But it’s been years since I’ve worn a shoe this high (I don’t think I wore heels at all last spring/summer), and I’m excited to try it again. I love the look, and these are particularly comfortable, which is really, the most important factor. I wear flats because they’re comfortable, so why not wear comfortable heels and get double benefit??
Anyway, I’m so glad I saved up my Shopbop credits and was able to get them. I won’t be able to buy much else for a while, but that’s okay, because I’m even more excited about wearing the warm-weather things I already have. Oh, and with the rest of my credit, I ordered the James Perse long fleece cardigan in size 2 – it should arrive today.
On to what I wore this week. I’m combining posts today because I’m also going to do a “wearing” recap post of what I wore in February and didn’t want to overwhelm you with numbers, etc.

This outfit you’re wearing in the pic really lengthens your legs! Love it! Even though I can’t imagine it being warm enough out here to wear a cardi (unless it was made from buffalo fur!) on a snowy day!
it’s the black boots/black leggings…and pointy toes don’t hurt 😉
did i mention how warm this cardigan is?? and if i button it up and pull the collar closed, it’s even warmer (which is what i did, just not for the pictures) – i didn’t spend a lot of time outside anyway like this, it was still in the 30’s!!
That’s why I love black and pointy toes!
And I can imagine that cardi is WARM!
