So…I hope this outfit will hold you guys for a while, next week in Alaska, I’m pretty sure I’ll be in jeans/sweats, sweaters & tennis shoes, so I’m not sure I’ll have any outfits to post. Hopefully I’ll get bunches of great landscape shots though 🙂
wearing: Madewell skirt | Vintage top | No6 Clog sandals | 3.1 Philip Lim bag | Watch by Kode (gift from my fiance)
This is the first time I’ve worn this top, although I’ve had it for several weeks. I love the print – it’s a “Grechen” kind of print, subtle, but interesting. I’m not sure how to accessorize the top though, I didn’t feel right adding a necklace. What do you think?
Here’s the close-up of my shoes:
Again, I hope you’ll follow me on Twitter and/or Instagram (username: grechen) for updates next week and to interact. I’ll miss you 🙂
I remember this top! I looks fabulous on you! 🙂

Cute top! I like how you accessorized it with a small, dainty necklace instead of a big one. But then again, I’m not great at accessorizing. haha
Have a wonderful time in Alaska!
hi grechen, i love the skirt and top combo!! i agree, no necklace – the top is a statement piece all in itself. you look wonderful! as for the clogs – i love your no.6 clogs! i wanted to share with you and your readers a great pair of clogs I purchased in Sydney, Australia. Funkis. They are designed and fabric supplied in Australia and crafted in Sweden. Here is a link (other great things here too like the buttery soft bags and modern home products). I sound like I work for them huh?? heehee
http://www.funkis.com/clogs-sandals-1.html I purchased the two-strap high suede in taupe. (They have nice natural leathers too that darken with wear). They stretch out nicely and are so comfortable. They are only $149 (shipping is $29 to the states). Anyway, thought I would share my find as I do really love them so much!!:))
btw, sale colors are $104! i think the orange and purple suede are cool!
ok, that top?! amazing. seriously SO cute.
i popped over (from google reader) to say thanks for your great feedback on the IFB giveaway article from the other day! loved hearing your feedback and tips, and was relieved to see that everything you suggested is pretty much how i’ve done it this far. it’s nice to have confirmation on certain things, you know?
anyways, i so respect your thoughts and opinions and was touched that you took the time to weigh-in. 🙂
XOXO – jessie
I was just thinking about you…
I love this top! It really doesn’t need a necklace, but maybe a bangle of some type?
Have an amazing trip!
You seriously have the bag collection of my dreams. I bow to your bag shopping prowess! I love the outfit too- it’s simple, but absolutely chic. That’s the definition of a Grechen outfit! Have a great trip 🙂
The outfit makes you look TALL!! I love the top accessorized simply…just like you did it. I would only put hoop earrings or studs and a bangle or 2 with it.
I think it’s fine that you didn’t accessorize the top because it would look like there’s so much going on up there. I like your bag!
