I picked up my “vintage” 80’s woven tote bag yesterday from Zarla (Santoki Vintage) and it’s just what I wanted!! I love the neutral, but interesting colors, and the design on the front. The bag is HUGE, but that’s good, because I wanted to be able to carry my laptop in it. The only downside is that it doesn’t have any inside or outside pockets, so I need to make sure everything is in a pouch, for easy retrieval.
What I’m Wearing:
REALLY old DarylK dress – I think this might be my favorite dress. I really haven’t worn it much the last couple of years, but now that I’ve discovered belts, I think it’s the perfect dress. It’s lightweight wool and has lots of great DarylK details…
Gap Belt
Swedish Hasbeens clogs
Jewelry: House of Harlow necklace, Fallon cuff from Gilt
Speaking of vintage, my friend Esti over at Buy Definition has added a carefully curated vintage section – and I’m dying for this necklace (and the accompanying caftan, BTW)
Your bag is really cool — I’m on the lookout for an old-school French market tote – which would probably have some similarities to your recent find. It works really well with your dress and shoes, too.
I really love this entire outfit on you, Grechen! It’s flattering and slimming. I love the tan colored accessories you have paired with the black dress. I actually think the right-above-the-knee dresses/skirts look best on you. Love the Hasbeens, too!
Love the dress (you fooled me–I thought it was JP for sure!! lol). But, seriously, how do you wear a wool dress (even lightweight) in an Austin TX summer???? I get warm just thinking about it!
Oh you’re so cute! The bag looks great!
thanks zarla 🙂 i love it!!!
