So, here I go. As I write this I’m sitting at the terminal waiting to board. Wearing exactly what you see here. I did modify my packing list a bit – adding a pair of leggings and a tank for doing Pure Barre podcasts. I also added some slouchy pants, a white tee to sleep in and my long striped lululemon tee for wearing at home.
I’m happy with what I’ve brought so far – we’ll see how I feel a few days in. What I really need to work on now is scaling down my toiletries and makeup. I have actually done that a few times, but I still feel like I bring too much. And I even keep a lot of stuff at my mom’s house so I don’t have to schlep it.
Not to worry about that now.. But I will be making careful note of what I use and don’t use so I can be more efficient next time.
I hope that you had a safe flight, and didn’t sit near any screaming kids. Or, people wearing plaid polyester. Which one would be worse?
Grechen, you look adorable! I love those pants and was hoping to find them, but you’re right- they’ve disappeared. If you see them available anywhere, will you let us know?
Hope you enjoy your trip! RJS–have some pity on the parents of those screaming kids…;) I have a two year old and sometimes it’s just not easy to be cooped up in a plane, but it must be done! ๐
Lala, I meant no offense. I hope that I didn’t offend you. I’ve also encountered many sweet kids while flying. Often it’s the adults who are the issue: kicking seats, talking too loudly, or snoring on your side of the seat!
RJS- no offense taken whatsoever! It always hits a nerve when people make a comment about kids screaming on planes…I’m fortunate to have a pretty chill toddler, but we’ve had our moments. ๐ I agree–often it is the adults who are the worst!
