I have been trying to use this little bag more often, because frankly, I love it. It is very small for me though, and inevitably when I do carry it, I wish I had something that’s still in my other bag because it wouldn’t fit in this one, but so far, nothing too serious. I’m going to do a “What’s in my bag” post tomorrow detailing what actually CAN fit in this bag, which is a lot, but I’m also trying to learn to do without a lot of things I thought were necessary. Like more than one chapstick. Or cough drops.
I will also admit that for me, carrying a large bag has been a way to hide myself – my hip(s) in particular. Now that I’m getting back to really loving the way my body looks, I’m more willing to go out of my comfort zone a little with regard to bag size/hiding my hips, although I do still feel “naked” to a certain extent. It’s totally worth it because I love this bag so much; the color especially makes me smile!
No need to hide your body behind a big bag and carry around all that extra weight of stuff you don’t need. I always carry a little crossbody and love being hands-free. This week I scored a beautiful little brown woven leather Cole Haan bag for $12 at a local consignment store. What a rush!
You’re looking great. Love the little red bag and I bet it really holds more than we think.
