Now that I have a pair of boots, I finally understand what all the fuss is about. These are just a random Italian brand, soft leather, flat boots, but it’s kind of insane how comfortable they are to walk in.
Last night I wore them across the river for my birthday dinner (walked 2 miles), and today we logged between 5-6 miles between walking to the Vatican and around the museums, underground to see the excavations and then south to Trastevre for drinks and dinner. My feet don’t hurt at all; boots are the perfect walking/traveling shoe in my opinion now. I’m a convert.
It’s kind of exhausting at the end of the day to walk that much, but this is the way we vacation…and this way I don’t even have to care how much pasta and gelato I eat!!
LOVE this skirt! This is the perfect casually chic outfit!!
can’t wait to see your boots in person–buy me a pair!!!

Oooooh! Vacation envy! Where did you go for your birthday dinner?
Yeah, boots are comfy! I actually will wear them without a heel and that says a lot!

Please show us a close-up of the boots, and figure out where we can buy some comfy ones like that! Bon voyage!
Agreed: Close-up of the boots is a must!! Love the outfits you planned–so comfy, yet so chic and simple. (My credo!!) You put a lot of miles on those boots already!! Have a safe trip back!!
I LOVE this look! I’m also very jealous of your travels! 🙂
This outfit is gorgeous – perfect for Italy. 🙂
