There’s a local store here, Mercury Home, that is filled with lovingly stuffed and displayed animals. I was a little creeped out by it at first, but now I find them interesting. Here I am next to Renee, the stuffed fox, who looks a little like my dog:
I love your dog! What a cutie.

i know!! crazy, but it feels kind of natural there when you run across a stuffed mouse or deer…
thanks 🙂
thanks 🙂 i love him too!!!
Grechen, love your blog and you look lovely. Although I will say, I prefer animals in a live state, and I am sure these little critters would want it the same! Not sure of how they met their demise, but if just killed to be stuffed, I find that appalling. Ok, off my soap box. Your dog is a beauty!
Aw what a cute puppy!!! … love that cynthia vincent bag too
i absolutely prefer animals in their “live” state too – i’m not 100% sure of the history of these animals, but i don’t believe they’re new, for one thing and another, i don’t think they were killed just to be stuffed and act as home decor; that IS appalling. again, i don’t know, and i’m not condoning stuffing animals, or killing animals, or whatever, i just thought it was an interesting picture…
