I don’t want to break the daily outfit streak!!
I’m going to get a pedicure today because my nails are growing SO FAST right now, and I can’t even bend over or figure out a comfortable way to cut my own toenails right now, let alone paint them. Also, a foot massage will feel REALLY good right now. I never splurge on my nails; I’m usually really good at keeping them groomed/painted myself, but I’ll give in to the indulgence for a little while. Happily 😉
Also, I’m wearing this tank (without a bra) because I just can’t with bras right now. I am definitely going to have to order a few larger/nursing bras to get me through the end and then breastfeeding. I mean…I don’t have to wear bras most of the time, but there are times when I do, or want to not wear this tank top LOL, so I think having one or two bras would be a good idea. I’m just so picky about bras….
nursing bras are the shit. maybe that makes me sound crazy, but hear me out! my kid is 22 months old and i stopped nursing just before she turned 19 months old. i still wear the ones from kindred bravely around my house after work. they are cozy. i also had 3 nursing bras made at nordstrom. 2 without underwire and 1 with underwire in case i wanted to wear a dressy outfit. great experience with customer service and fit. the non-underwire ones are lovely and i used to just wear them on the weekends anyway because they were so comfortable. while you may not want to convert all of your bras to this type, they can actually be used after the nursing period ends with great frequency.
What I found was that because my first daughter was such a ravenous eater, I was leaking milk a lot of the time and required a nursing bra with extra nursing pads to protect my clothes from perpetual wet spots! (now I wouldn’t go with disposables, but I did 32 yrs ago!). Remind me to tell you my funny leaking story someday… 😉
Agree, I hate bras and especially hated wearing them while pregnant! I basically just didn’t unless I absolutely had to. I’m pretty small chested (like a 30B/C) anyway, and pregnant and newly nursing was a 32DD for a couple of months, and instead of nursing bras I just wore stretchy bralets. I found nursing bras to be terrible uncomfortable, and if you need to unbutton the flap, you can nearly as easily just pull your boob out from the top of the stretchy bra. When my boobs were at their absolute hugest for the first few weeks after birth, I just stuffed myself into a slightly larger one 🙂 Oh, and washable nursing pads!
