This is my “Ladies who Lunch” outfit from today: the dress is from Target, the bag is Jas M.B., and the shoes are No6. My smile was goofy, so I cut my head off.
Here are some more of the ladies:
From L to R: Cathy, Katie, Elia & Sydney.
I’ve had this dress for a while, and after I saw a girl Monday night at an Austin Fashion Week event wearing it I thought if she could do it, I could do it. But I can’t. It’s too hot for polyester. And since I’ve been out nearly every night this week doing local fashion events, I’ve really had to push my comfort zone: yesterday, I wore my James Perse spaghetti-strap maxi dress without anything underneath *gasp* and today, I’m going to wear my James Perse tube dress without anything OVER it. *double gasp* I think I’m just too hot to care about a little arm flab right now…
Here’s a look at a picture from last night at the Buy Definition party:

Pretty red dress! Also I hear you on the heat – it’s taken a bit to warm up here in San Diego but it’s HOT HOT HOT this week and we can barely even sit outside to eat lunch for our full lunch break because it’s too warm! Everything I wear just sticks to me, yuck!
Super-cute pic!!! You all look fabulous, especially given the temperatures in Austin!!! UGH…
thanks π
we are all DYING. i did learn last night that bobbi’s gel eyeliner isn’t great for 100+ degrees though LOL – or i just shouldn’t have put it on the bottom – it RAN!!!
thanks sara. the stickiness is the worst.
you ladies look so lovely! I agree, I’m showing off skin and don’t care who I offend b/c it’s HOT out!
Love the no. 6 shoes. I am dying for a pair of no. 6 clogs.
How do they compare to SwedishHasbeens?
i like no6 more than swedish hasbeens – with closed no6 clogs, i go up one size, for sandals, i take my normal size. they’re just much more comfortable than SH in my experience…
