WEARING
All Saints dress | my dress is sold out, but the venice tee dress is kind of similar – only in a size 2
Everlane belt | size small
Jil Sander sandals | secondhand from MOSS
Vintage straw tote | a few years old, got it on etsy (here are some similar!)
So funny – the last time I wore this dress I wore it over jeans because I was embarrassed of my legs from all the bruises and bites, and here I am with the world’s biggest bruises on my right leg (I fell UP the stairs)! I also mentioned in the post that I was going to try a self-tanner to disguise said bruises, so I did start using the Jergens natural glow lotion. I did everything right, and used it for 3 days, now I have a very visible LINE on the inside of my legs dividing front from back. I fail at self-tanner. And frankly, I don’t care right now; it’s hot, I’m showing my legs.
I do like this dress belted, but I tend to wear it more often without a belt – the look is totally different (obviously). The belt pulls it together so it’s more of an outfit. But wearing it un-belted is so…freeing. It’s just so casual, and comfortable, and easy. Shapeless, yes, but should that matter? Anyway, I’m happy I have the option to wear this dress multiple ways. The Everlane belt is great with it, feeding into it’s minimalism.
Speaking of Everlane, has anyone tried the shoes? the poplin? I keep going back and forth on ordering the sandals and one of the poplin tops, but haven’t yet. Of course, I don’t need either, but I’m curious…
You look so cute in this outfit! Love it.
I’m ticked off at Everlane for not making their sandals in a size 11, so they’re on my bad list right now!
