Outfit: My Best Professional Look

Indiana and I had some “professional” business to attend to today (re: the Texas Style Council conference), so I put on my best “professional” attire 😉 I’m laughing because this is really not a great “professional” look, but we’re not really very “professional” anyway, so it’s okay.

I look at this photo and am reminded of two things: that I don’t have a photographer who can tell me, “Grech, fix your bangs!!” and that I desperately need a structured, cropped BLACK jacket. A structured, cropped black jacket would have taken this outfit to a whole other level, don’t you think? A more “professional” level. LOL

And this is my first outfit picture featuring the Rachel Comey bow clogs. I have been sort of mixed about these since I got them. I was (and still am) stunned at how light they are; they’re almost just not even there. This fact alone, makes them incredibly comfortable, and easy to walk in. But I didn’t like the way they looked with tights. I’m over it now, but I was concerned. Anyway – I’m glad I finally got a pair of Rachel Comey shoes, although this pair just makes me want to buy ALL OF THEM. Starting with these.
