Outfit: Pointy Flats

First, this blazer is actually red instead of the hot-pinkish it looks in the picture. I’d actually like it much better if it WAS the color it looks in the picture!! I really don’t like red/black/white together, but this combo (with denim) is better because the combo isn’t so obvious.

I received the shoes yesterday from Gilt (here’s this season’s version at Theory) and after walking around the house all day in them, I think I’ll keep them. There’s a LOT of toe-cleavage, and they’re VERY pointy, which is something I’ll have to get used to, but I do think they’re a “dressier” alternative to ballet flats if I need to wear flats. In case you can’t see the toe-cleavage in the picture above 😉

What do you think about the shoes? are they keepers? (I haven’t actually worn them out yet, I’ll probably change shoes when I do leave the house…)

    You need to wear this outfit all the time! You look great in red and the skinny jeans, the pointy toe cleavage shoes, your hairstyle etc. just ROCK!! p.s. have you lost weight? You look fabulous!

    I love this outfit! Maybe because one of my fav color combos is red, black and white. The blazer is beautiful and it only looks pink on the right. 🙂 I think the shoes are a keeper. They look good with the jeans and I think you’ll need them at some point. Rock that toe cleavage!

    For years I hated pointed shoes and there wasn’t much more to wear. Now I really like this ones, they look dresier as you said : ) but my heart is still with rounded repettos.
