I’ve been paralyzed recently by “perfect.” I want the perfect closet, the perfect accessories, the perfect LIFE. Really? How old am I?? What is perfect anyway? Is there such a thing?
Maybe you’re already there.
Well, I think you look great! I have been consumed (on many occasions) by the desire to be perfect before. And then something always goes horribly wrong, reminding me that I am not perfect, my life is not perfect, and you know what, it is OK.
There is no such thing. You are perfect just as you are.
I agree (with Lisa). Everyone is perfect as we are. No need to stress!
i know…that’s the thing. i KNOW this, i KNOW that i have a beautiful life and i love being me, just the way i am…but sometimes that little monster inside of me drowns out all reason LOL
It’s true that there is no such thing as perfect. There’s close, there’s almost, there’s airbrushing (ha ha), there’s not anywhere near….but there is no perfect. And what a difficult standard to have to maintain!! Grechen…we are all made uniquely because this would be one BORING world if we were all perfect. I put my hubby up on that impossible pedestal when we were first married 29 yrs. ago, and I soon realized what a burden that is to the “pedestalee” (!). Now, I just call him “My knight in tarnished armor” and he loves it!!
