Lina Rennell cotton sweater | small/medium (gift to review from Beklina)
Rachel Comey Dover clogs
I have worn this sweater 5-6 times since I received it a couple weeks ago; I almost always have it with me. Angelina (Lina Rennell) from Beklina sent it to me to try out and let you know what I think. Perfect timing, actually, because earlier this summer I gave my sister an old lightweight cardigan (also from Beklina, interestingly) that no longer fit me, but had been my go-to lightweight cardigan for summer A/C.
And what do I think? It’s heavenly: soft, light, nicely constructed, perfectly cropped, and just enough to keep the A/C chill away during the summer months. Also, and I might be a little ashamed to admit this, it’s the ideal layer to just keep in your tote all the time. You know, for emergencies. The color is simple and rather neutral, but a nice “nude for me” easy color to wear with everything.
The price is also incredibly reasonable ($90) and as with all things Angelina carries at Beklina, it’s thoughtfully produced; this style is “lovingly” made in Nepal from 100% cotton. The cardigan comes in other colors, and she also has a few other of these light cotton styles: a short sleeve “tee” and a dress.
Oh man I LOVE that color combination (or neutral combination;)) on you!
You look beautiful in this outfit! love it 🙂
thank you henny!!
haha. yes, neutral 😉
thanks lisa.
Oh I am looking for this sweater in gray (I have a version in black)! If you find it please let me know. 🙂
You’ve done it again: Another all-time favorite Grechen outfit! Easy, modern, and stylish. Sounds pretty close to perfect to me 😉
(Why are you embarrassed to admit you carry the sweater in your tote? All kinds of smart-ass goofy answers come to mind…)
Love this, Grechen! You look great in a soft neutral near your face and love the contrast!
