I wore this out this AM to Whole Foods to pick up some stuff for our cookout this afternoon with family at my Mom’s; it was the PERFECT throw-on and get going outfit. I picked up the shirt this weekend from the Gap – I was looking for something easy and long that I could wear with leggings or jeans, and I liked how simple this was. It honestly doesn’t do me any favors when you look at it just this way – in 2 dimensions – because you can’t tell I have a waist (and my waist is one of my favorite body parts!) and it makes me look bigger on top. But in action/real-life, I think it works better. Anyway, it’s super-soft and I’d like to live in it.
I’m wearing a Gap shirt, Gap jeans, Cape clogs, Alexander Wang Donna Hobo Bag and my new For me, For you necklace (more on that later this week, and a close up).
Cute necklace! Can’t wait to see the close-ups! Happy Labor Day (take the day off!)
silver clogs! amazing! i’ve never thought of that, but they’re awesome.
π
i love my metallic shoes LOL
thanks π i did take the afternoon off π
Totally agree. The silver clogs AND the necklace make the outfit. Glad you love the shirt…wish we could see your 360-view! And, I like you in the darker, straight-leg jeans.
Hope you had a fantastic cookout and relaxing Labor Day. What do vegans eat at a “cookout,” anyway? π
LOL, actually we do sometimes eat a little fish, as long as it’s wild-caught, and mostly just salmon or tuna for the beneficial oils. so we grilled portobello mushroom caps, tuna, corn…and i made an asian cucumber salad. YUM.
I love the bag with knotted strap.
I hear you about having a great top that you feel you could just live in. I just got one this weekend (super comfy tee with fringe), goes well with leggings, jeans, teeny shorts, skirt, you name it.
