James Perse cap sleeve slub scoop neck tee | $24 at Last Call (white also $24, other colors $34 – size 2)
James Perse slub long skirt | so old…I have no idea when I got this, it’s flared in the back
Rag & Bone Quinn sandals | true to size – 15% off at The Dreslyn with code GOTSOLE
3.1 Phillip Lim large Ryder Satchel
I thought I would save you from my verbosity today (since it’s Friday), and not write an essay on having too many clothes, or body image. You’re welcome 😉
I do want to point out that this James Perse tee (different from my favorite casual tee, more fitted, slightly heavier) is amazing, of course, and it’s just $24 at Last Call right now. They did have a coupon ($25 off $75), but I believe it expired today. I got this top a couple months ago during a similar coupon and paid $29 for it, which is still a good price, but I should have waited, since I only just wore it for the first time today! The scoop is rather deep, so if you’re well-endowed, it might be a problem, but for me it’s fine. The tee is RIDICULOUSLY soft, and slightly more substantial than some other slubbed tees. Just right. Oh, and mine is made in Guatemala instead of the US, FYI, which is interesting because the descriptions at Last Call all say made in the US…
And two more things of note: Caudalie started their F&F code today (20% off). I’ll post my favorites on Grechen’s Codes, but in case you don’t get over there, I MUST recommend that you get this “essentials” set, which would be $22 after the code. An absolutely STEAL for small sizes of their best products; I can’t live without the lip conditioner. Among other things.
Also, I haven’t been wearing makeup lately. More on that next week, when I’m back to writing too much. I’m not wearing makeup in the picture above. Mostly because I’m lazy, but also because I don’t think it’s necessary. Not because I don’t think I don’t look BETTER with it, but I guess I just don’t see the point with my lifestyle. I’ve been just wearing a CC cream and no mascara or eyeliner. Makes washing my face at the end of the day a breeze! I just want to focus on skincare now, and sunscreen. I’ve become a sunscreen fanatic…
Oh, and in case you didn’t see it, Kiehl’s is also having their F&F this weekend. Has anyone tried their new micro blur skin perfecter? I thought I’d go and get a sample today to try before buying, but it seems to do exactly what I want it to.
Huh. I wasn’t going to write too much on today’s outfit, and look what I did. Wrote too much. Ah well…
happy Friday!!
The $25 off $75 offer has been extended through May 20! Code is LCMAY25.
A sunscreen post would be great!
oh yipee!! 🙂
oh…good idea zoey. that seems appropriate for while i’m in Florida the week after next.
I second, what Zoey said about sunscreen. I’d also appreciate a post about it. I’ve become fanatical about skincare, too, and it makes a big difference. I can compare my face with other women in my age range, and I look pretty damn good. Of course, I still have laugh lines and creases, but that’s just part of life.
I agree that sunscreen is the biggest reason for my line-free complexion. Well, I’m lucky that I’ve got a good gene pool, too! (Thanks, a Mom and Dad!????)
But beyond that, it’s diligent care with the dermatologists trifecta: Retin A, Antioxidant serum, and exfoliation. Sunscreen is just a given!
I’d love to see a post on your favorites, Grechen, and your reader’s faves, too!
I’m still pondering a purchase on Lastcall.com (Some VINCE). I just won a bunch of skincare, or I’d be all over the new Caudalie C serum!
