So…how was your Thanksgiving? Did you go out and shop on Black Friday? Are you shopping online for Cyber Monday? I’m doing a lot of shopping, but no buying. And my Thanksgiving was wonderful – I spent it with my dad and stepmom, and my husband and his son. A lot of food and cooking was involved 😉
On to the outfit. I got my INDi custom jeans over the weekend and have been wearing them non-stop. Mostly to stretch them out a bit, but also now they’re really comfortable, so I wear them around the house. I do like the fit – I chose the bootcut – but the rise is a bit too high for my taste. The waist fits me PERFECTLY. Like a glove. And I love the rinse. They’re great jeans for custom denim, but I do okay buying jeans off the rack also. I’m happy with them, and would totally recommend them at a discount; I’m not sure they’re worth the full retail price. And OF COURSE they’re offering a cyber monday discount: CYBERMONDAY11 for 30% off today only. If you’re at all interested, try it out. They’ll fix them if you’re not completely happy.
And today is the first day it was REALLY cold in the morning, so I was happy to wear my VKOO scarf (check out their 40% off sale going on today) and super-toasty-warm cardigan I picked up at MOSS designer consignment last week for store credit. It’s huge. And very warm. But I fell in love instantly with the colors/pattern, so I couldn’t resist! Now, I’m so glad I didn’t…
I’m so happy to read your review on INDI jeans. I have entered my measurements more than once, and then chickened-out at the last second. I am having trouble finding jeans that fit, lately. (Can you say, “Overindulgence”?) So, it’s not really the jeans, it’s me. But I keep telling myself that they’re cutting jeans really weird these days! Oh, and the print has gotten smaller and smaller in magazines….lol.
i was very skeptical; i have never really tried “custom” clothing before. but i couldn’t pass up getting them for half-price. they definitely fit perfectly, there’s no waist gap, they’re exactly the right length…and the wash is uniformly dark (the way i like it!). I DO think they’re worth a try, maybe not for $180, but for $130 or so…and i think they’ll re-do them for you a few times until they’re perfect. next time they have a discount, i think you should try it!!
I might have to do that; when I’m closer to my “goal weight” I’ll treat myself! Oh, and I almost bought a sweater by Free People that was almost identical to the one that you got. What a find!!
love love love your JD billy! is this a new purchase? i love this season’s maroon color. it’s been a great weekend for xmas and wishlist shopping 🙂
