It’s going to be 104 today. And to those people who say, “well, at least it’s a dry heat” I say phooey. Yes, it’s a different kind of heat than you get in more humid climates, but HOT is HOT. If you go outside anytime after 12 you feel like you’re getting slapped in the face with the heat. It just makes me tired and cranky. And not want to wear makeup. Or clothes. Luckily I got a nice tan at the beach, so my face has enough “color” that I don’t need any makeup, or at least I think I can get away with it. As for clothes…I just try to wear things that don’t touch my body as much as possible. Which includes my bag – and jewelry. I never would have thought wearing a cuff would be so hot. Or carrying a shoulder bag.
Anyway, I’m not alone, I’m sure you guys are hot too, how do you dress for it?
I’m going to do a post separately about my new jewelry 🙂 stay tuned!!
I agree- you are totally hot! It is ridiculous here right now. I’m also trying to wear as little as possible while still being remotely fashionable and not getting arrested for indecent exposure. Alaska is looking better and better……
I don’t know how you handle it, to be honest. I live for AC. I jump from my air conditioned home, to my air conditioned car to my air conditioned workplace!!! (and I’m still too warm!)
honestly, i don’t know either. i’m about ready to quit texas….
i literally want to stay in the pool and/or not leave the house all day. but even the pool doesn’t help much because the water is SO WARM.
Ewww…like a kid peed in the pool??? lol…
haha. no!
