I made it back to Austin on Monday, and my Jas M.B. bag from Tobi was waiting for me 😉
I’m also wearing my beloved “slouchy” sweatpants from H&M. I say beloved, because I’ve worn them a lot since I got them on Friday in Atlanta; I wore them while I was there, and I wore them home on the plane. They are a little smaller on me than I’d like, but they didn’t have a larger size in the store I went to, and these fit me fine, so I got them anyway. They’re also not as soft as the T by Alexander Wang or James Perse pairs I’d been looking at, but for $17, I think I’ll live. For a style of pant I won’t necessarily want to wear for too many more seasons, $17 is sufficient…
And I REALLY love my new bag!! It’s quite a bit smaller than the bags I normally carry, but I think I may be heading in that direction. It holds everything I need easily (just not a lot of extras), and it’s so lightweight and easy to carry. One of my favorite things about Jas M.B. bags is that you can always carry them multiple ways. This one comes with a leather shoulder strap and a longer woven messenger strap. I use the longer messenger strap to carry it by my shoulder and took off the leather shoulder strap because it’s just a bit too short for me to carry that way; but I love that I have the choice how to carry it depending on my needs at the time. The color in real-life is more olive than you can tell in the picture – it is the perfect color for my wardrobe right now. I love it!!! More great things about Jas M.B.: I paid less than $300 for it – AND it’s handmade in England (the quality is superb). Makes me question again why I’ve been paying nearly $1,000 for bags made by who-knows-who in China…..
Oh, and guess what? Tobi’s offering an exclusive “GRECHEN25” coupon code again 🙂 25% off your order of regularly-priced merchandise at least through the end of the year. Yay!!
love those sweat pants…they look great on you!!
thank you!! i really love them, kinda wish i had more than 1 pair 🙂
I really like the sweats because they don’t LOOK like sweats and they do look great on you. I esp. like the price since I’ve wanted the JP’s and can’t do that right now.
what about the shoes? i need a very comfortable flat.
That sounds so nice! You’re giving me a new brand to obsess over.
oooh excited to see how you work in the Jas MB bag into your weekly looks! love the minimalist-chic comfy outfit here.
What brand of $1000 bags are you getting that are dubiously made in china?? 😛
