WEARING
AG Stevie ankle jeans
H&M linen t-shirt
Tory Burch Simone cardigan (several years old)
Vince Kia Flats
Jas M.B. bag
I tried on all of my jeans this weekend, and all but two pairs are too big for me. Yay! It has been many, many, many, many years since I’ve been too small for all of my jeans, in fact, I’ve actually been fewer pounds than I am now, but still wore a size 32 jean because of my hips/butt. After nearly a year of Pure Barre though, they’re not nearly the “issue” they used to be when it comes to jeans and now I can wear a size 30. I NEVER thought that would happen, but my hips/saddlebags have really slimmed down over time with PB, more than they have with anything else.
But moving on…I have a lot of jeans to get rid of. First, I’d like to start by giving away the two pairs of jeans that Beija-Flor sent me to review. They’re both size 10 (I could wear them as a size 12/32) and have NOT been hemmed. Please see this post for details on the jeans and pictures of them on me, and Beija Flor for more information; I have a pair of Kelly pull-on-denim and the Audrey ankle jean to giveaway. And in case you haven’t seen the news, Beija Flor was featured in Oprah’s February 2013 issue as “The World’s Best Jeans.” They’re really good!
To enter the giveaway, please fill out the form below. You can choose which pair you’d like to win, or not if you don’t have a preference. I’ll choose TWO winners (one for each pair) randomly next Monday, April 1st.
I also have a pair of Current/Elliot boyfriend jeans (seen here), size 30, to sell – if you’re interested before I ebay them, let me know, either leave a comment or send me an email.
Also, do you use primer? Favorite brands??
Hi Grechen,
I just had to comment on how amazing you look! When I read your post about your plan to lose weight, I was excited … I had twins last year and it’s been hard to lose those last few pounds.. Gaining 47 lbs in 9 months is no joke, but taking it off is something else! I still have about 5 or so more to go, but I have been inspired by you and your willpower! Keep it up, you look great!
thank you so much kelly! and good for you too π
You look amazing! Congrats to you :). How much are you selling your Current Elliot’s for?
Thank you shannon!! I’m sending you an email about the jeans
Grechen, you look fantastic!!! What hips?? π
(where is that cute necklace from?)
And, the only time I use primer is when I’m going somewhere special and want to look really done. I don’t feel like I need it. But a lot of people love it. Many cosmetic companies add it to their formulas for foundation and/or skincare (BB does). I’ve tried Laura Mercier, but I probably needed the oil-free, cuz I broke out. I have also tried Smashbox, and once again, can’t use the regular. Too much silicone. Tarte is making a BB cream that contains primer and feels very smooth going on, but not so sure about their shades. I’d see if I could find a swatch. The coverage is really good on it, tho.
i didn’t know BB did that…
i have a small size of the hourglass primer and i like that it tones down my redness, but i also feel like it makes my skin way too matte – must be the silicone.
Looking great, Grechen! And I’m a size 10, so I’ve entered. I took a chance that the giveaway is open to non-U.S. residents. I don’t wear jeans very often because I find them uncomfortable (too stiff or the waistband is too hard), so I’m intrigued by these Beija Flor jeans.
We always were taught in “BB School” that she doesn’t believe in adding a lot of extra steps to a woman’s routine, so she added “primers” into her skincare (not 100% sure about the foundations…).
And silicone…I’m not a fan. I thought about using all of the old tubes to grow my……oh, never mind….;-)
