As you may or may not know, it’s been non-stop raining here since I got back from Florida, so I haven’t actually been able to wear my new Freda Salvador shoes out of the house yet, but I play dress up with them daily. And this is definitely an outfit I would wear with them. Basic, easy, but made ever-so-slightly more chic now with the addition of such interesting shoes…
And I’m trying some new things with my hair, since I’m struggling to grow it out more, and it’s at that stage I hate where it flips up at my shoulders all the time. I’m tempted to go and get it cut, but I’ve already told myself I will NOT until fall. I’m going to stick it out and see how I like slightly longer hair; it’s been a long time since I had long-ish hair.

Oh, and in case you haven’t seen yet, Freda Salvador launched their Spring collection this morning and it is FULL OF GORGEOUSness:

It’s been a bit rainy here too – I’m fairly certain we’re officialy out of winter and heading into spring. So now I’m looking for a good rain coat – I’ve never really owned one as an adult so I’m not sure where to start. Any suggestions would be welcome (as I think we have a similar style 🙂
I think I bought that hair clip for my daughter’s Christmas stocking. Good to know that it works for someone with a lot of hair.
Now, quick! Get those gorgeous shoes back inside!
i love that madewell clip. anthropologie also has some really cute ones, but for twice as much. maybe when they do a coupon or something 😉
i wore the shoes that evening actually to a nordstrom “party” and they were so great. there was actually one other person there (in a sea of bloggers in their valentino rockstuds UGH) wearing freda salvador shoes (the regular d’orsay style, not the cage style like I have) and turns out she went to college with one of the designers, and now works for W magazine. very chic indeed. i felt like i was in good company, even though in my flats i was shorter than everyone by a foot at least!!
sorry i’m so behind on comments!! i would love to put together some suggestions for you. i did like the everlane swing trench, though, it’s not actually a RAIN rain coat, for heavy duty rain, but it is cute LOL – and the anorak might be better at being rain resistant.
i have a great rain jacket by patagonia but i only wear it to walk the dog – it’s BRIGHT blue and not very stylish at all! keeps the rain out though 😉
Thank you for being AUTHENTIC!!! You are you, short, strong, stylish, beautiful YOU!
