Rag & Bone Boy Jeans (size 27)
Elizabeth Suzann wool harper sweater (gift from ES a couple years ago)
Vince Blair sneakers
This is my bedroom, and it turns out the lighting in here is a bit better this time of the morning, so here’s my outfit. Nothing spectacular, just cozy, easy and mostly older stuff. I need to add another layer under the sweater though, my wrists are cold 😉
I’ll admit I was thinking about writing some general response to some comments recently that I took personally, explain myself, try to make people like me, but that’s a waste of time, and doesn’t matter. I’ve also done it all before and of course, it doesn’t “work”.
Instead, I just talked to my father, and he is well; I helped him order my birthday present for me LOLOL.
My sister sent me a picture of her two dogs sitting by the fence watching for the neighbor dog to come out so they can “talk.” It was really cute and made me smile.
My husband is taking me on a road trip to GO BIRDING for my birthday next weekend, and I’m still in shock/awe about it. I mean…
I love and appreciate my life. All of it; the difficult parts and the fun parts, the beautiful parts and the ugly ones. I remember that now.
Thanks for sharing your life, Grechen! I love your posts.
So glad you didn’t try and make them like you (to paraphrase Taylor Swift “Haters gonna hate!). You are fabulous and never have to explain anything to anyone! Have a great weekend.
Leo sounds like a great guy who knows he has a great woman in his life! Here’s to seeing a lot of cool birds on your trip! (*I saw a pair of American Egrets fly right over my house this morning as I was doing dishes! Excitement!)
Birthday birding sounds like JUST the right gift for you! I hope you & L have a great time. It’s our anniversary this weekend – no plans, just thinking about how I want to cook the chanterelles from Costco and what wine to enjoy 🙂
It’s finally cooling down here and I can start wearing pants & maybe sweaters again. Light sweaters 😉
I’m really enjoying reading your blog updates! I think you are terrific!
Great decision! I’ve said this before, but I’m always excited to see a post from you in my emails and I love the directions in your style and of course, your musings on your life, which encourages me to muse on my life. I mean, purpose…. still thinking about that one!
Have a fantastic birthday week and enjoy birding.
I love your posts and I like you. I think if I lived closer we could be friends. When we’re not “peopled out”. Seeing that tunic makes me wish that ES did wool again. I don’t think she does it anymore.
I love this outfit (both on you and in general). That sweater!! ?
I continue to enjoy your blog. Thanks for sharing your frustrations as well as your joys.
