I’m always on the lookout for cropped jackets, sweaters or tops to go over dresses & wear with skirts. Ask Sharon. The problem is that NOTHING is ever cropped on me, even if the style is cropped, because I have such a short waist. So, I’m always disappointed. BUT Imagine my surprise & delight when this Demy Lee sweater arrived from Eaton Trading Company (the one that I got with the Refinery29 Reserve last week) and it is PERFECT.
Now, I have a dilemma. bird has the same sweater available in nude, and I did purchase the Refinery29 Reserve deal for them recently. Do I buy a second sweater using that reserve? #firstworldproblems
I always want to buy multiples of things I love, but never seem to. In this case, I may just do it…the sweater is just too good. And since it never gets REALLY cold here, I could wear it nearly all year around. Sold!
Do you buy multiples of things you love?
Have a great weekend!!!
This sweater is PERFECT on you!
I just got machine washable cropped cotton sweaters from Uniqlo in three different colors (navy, grey, and black), when the cut works and if the price is not too bad I do buy in multiples, especially for such a basic item.
Your sweater looks great, and love your new haircut, I feel like you keep on looking younger and younger as you update.
And speaking of multiples I just ordered my first v-neck cardigan from Inhabit. Hope it will work (the other items have so far once I took cue from you and started washing them in the machine instead of hand washing which used to keep them out of rotation).
i need to go to uniqlo; i always hear such good things about it!
so far all of my inhabit pieces have held up extremely well to machine washing (delicate cycle, lay flat to dry). with the exception of very few things, i wash most of my dry-clean clothes…i hope you love your v-neck cardigan! i still don’t have one of those, just four of the “regular” crew-neck style.
I guess I do buy multiples. I was automatically going to say no. (but then I remembered that you know how many striped tops I own!) But INHABIT v-necks are one of the items: thin, soft, layerable, always chic layered over a tank. Also, my J Crew vintage cotton v-neck tees (mulitple colors!), and J Crew perfect linen shirts (2 of them). I want more Equipment Signature Silk shirts. I LOVE them!
*Lovin’ the hair and the outfit is so Grechen! (i.e. perfect)
oh…i keep wanting to try the j crew perfect linen shirt. guess they’re good if you have 2 😉
I love them. I just wore the navy one with white pants and nude platform sandals to my daughter’s graduation in DC. I felt appropriate and comfortable!
Ahhh! Your hair your hair. It’s so amazing. Like a brunette Michelle Williams. <3
thanks ashe!!
