So, I wore one of my very oldest James Perse pieces (this tube dress) in honor of the James Perse sample sale on Gilt this morning, and ended up being disappointed. There were lots of tees and long skirts, some dresses, but nothing I really wanted to buy. Oh well, now I have more money for the Splendid & Bloch sales tomorrow 🙂
And as I look at the picture, it’s obvious that I need to add a belt. In person, you can see more definition of my waist, and there’s a drawstring tie visible, but I do think it would look more pulled-together with a belt. Next time…
