I found my new shopping mecca in Atlanta, and it’s only a few minutes away from my mom’s: Saks Off Fifth. I’ve always liked off fifth, but I never made it there very often in Austin because it was more than an hour away. Last Call was close in Austin and even closer now that I’m in Dallas, so I go there all the time. But Saks has a much better selection of James Perse and yesterday I hit the mother load in the clearance section because everything was buy one get two free. I actually didn’t buy anything from the clearance section because the item I wanted to buy wasn’t IN the clearance section, but if I had more money, I would have bought another funnel-neck sweatshirt dress (last seen here) in burgundy and then gotten a couple of JP tees for free. Whoa. This time I only got the raglan sweatshirt dress in black because it fit nicely and I could use an additional layer since it’s hovering around 30 degrees here every day…
Anyway, if you have an Off Fifth near you, get over there NOW to take advantage of the buy one get two free deal. Everything else in the store was an extra 25% off, which was how I got the sweatshirt dress for a steal also. Now I’m tempted to go back.
And it doesn’t look like I’ll be wearing my clogs at all this trip. Oh well, live & learn. And try to stick with one pair of shoes when traveling in winter 🙂
Have a great weekend!!!
Very cute dress! I may have to make a purchase…
Thanks Dee! I love this dress, it’s very versatile. The gray slub is quite thin though FYI. And i’m wearing a medium for reference. .. I have never worn it without leggings layered.
The dress is so cute! I love the different color/texture combo of it and the jacket.
Off Fifth is amazing!! I got a Rachel Pally dress for like $60 from the site. I’m hooked now!
Thanks, good to know!
I live about an hour north of Atlanta and we also have a Off Saks…love it. Lately though ours hasn’t had a huge selection of JP like they used to. Ours also has tons of Wildfox sweatshirts and tees, some of those are cute. Have fun in Atlanta !
Are you up near discover Mills? I used to go to that one when I lived here. Now there’s one up a little North of Marietta closer to my mom. So happy to have a close shopping destination now! I can never make it to Lenox when I’m here… Too busy !
I actually live in the Dawsonville area….about 40 minutes north from Discover Mills. I like the Nordstrom Rack in Alpharetta by North Point but the Mall of GA one is much better. I never make it to Lenox either, too far.
