WEARING:
T by Alexander Wang Asymmetrical dress (other colors on sale at The Outnet)
No6 Clogs
Jas M.B. handbag (link goes to black version)
Kyler Designs earrings (gift)
Are you tired of hearing about the T by Alexander Wang asymmetrical dress? Do you have your own yet? (there are still some left on sale at the Outnet…). And speaking of the Outnet, thanks to a tip from Angela on twitter, I see that there are four pairs of Swedish Hasbeens for LESS THAN $100 on sale right now. Limited sizes, but it’s worth a look-see!
Now, back to the dress. If you don’t have one, or two, already, GET ONE! The one I’m wearing is a size small, but my sienna was a size medium, and they’re both okay, I just preferred the the small because it wasn’t so tent-y on me. A reader yesterday asked me what bra I wear with it, and today I’m wearing a black hanky panky bralette. It has very narrow straps so even if they do peek out, it’s not by much. I find that if you wear the dress one way (right now my tag is on the right side) it covers bra straps better than the other way.
I think maybe I’ll wear this outfit in San Francisco – with a cardigan on top of course. In Italy last year, I wore dresses/skirts every day but one and we walked 4-5 miles every day. I did wear flat shoes in Italy, but does San Francisco have cobblestone streets like Rome does? If I’m just walking on a flat sidewalk my clogs are fine, otherwise, the one day I did wear clogs in Rome, I wanted to DIE.
Finally, as promised, here’s a closeup of the earrings (well, earring at least) from Kyler Designs:
They’re still NOT bothering my sensitive ears, and I still love them π
I’m taking my t-wang dress to San Fran this weekend too@! Thanks to you for the heads up on the sale. It arrived yesterday and I can tell I will be wearing it OFTEN!
Your look ltoday is one long, lean line…and your haircut is still adorbs. I love the gloss you have on…what is it, if you don’t mind telling one of your trade secrets?
haha! i’m always asking you yours π
it’s bobbi browns creamy lip color in “uber pink”
LOVE the creamy lip colors. I have a ton, but I can always use just one more…
There are not cobblestone streets in SF but many up and downs!!, that are not good for walking with heals…You might need more than a jacket though the weather in summer is miserable, with all the fog coming from the sea. I used to live on the bay area and every time I went to SF was cold and grey, itΒ΄s sunnier in the winter…
Exactly what Lunaday says. LOTS of hills. Our summer fog has started, so you’d do well to bring some cotton cardigans, and a jacket in the category of the J. Crew Field Jacket to layer over. Also a lightweight scarf, in case you are out at night or early in the morning.
If you’d like any restaurant or other thoughts, let us know:). Also, if you need sun, just drive/train 45 minutes south and you’ll be fine.
