I was going to write a lot more on this post, but wi-fi has been fussy and now I don’t have time before I have to leave for my dentist appointment!!  Notice I’m NOT wearing my Elizabeth Suzann Clyde trench today.  It was hard not to, but I have other jackets I’d like to wear and it’s cold enough today that this corduroy jacket is nice and cozy over a cashmere sweater.

Speaking of cashmere, I am not buying any new cashmere/wool/animal products, or any new leather for the foreseeable future.  I don’t need anything, for one, but also, as a vegan/vegetarian I am trying to wean myself away from animal products altogether. At this point, I don’t think it’s necessary for me to get rid of all the leather/wool/cashmere items I have, so I’ll keep wearing them, and I’m open to purchasing any of those things secondhand if I need to.  It’s a work in progress, but I’m happy in the direction I’m moving.

I’ll continue to link to exact items I’m wearing for those who are interested, but I want to also feature a lot more similar, or exact, secondhand options.  I am lucky to have a lot to choose from coming to me regularly via Slowre*, but otherwise, I really love to browse and shop The Real Real for good quality designer secondhand.
