I really love this no-changing-outfits-once-it’s-on thing. I’m finding I can trust myself more when it comes to choosing flattering outfits, and it frees my brain up so I can think about REALLY important things 😉
Today maybe I cheated a little bit though; I never changed the dress, I just messed around with accessories, shoes & top layer. Which is actually good, because usually when I try to wear this dress I look in the mirror and immediately take it off…
Now it’s time for me to figure out what to do with my hair. GAH! I hate it right now, and I keep telling myself I just want to grow it back out and keep the bangs, but then I’d really love to have long hair and no bangs – just to try. But I can never let my bangs grow out, I always end up cutting them. And I think I’d like to lighten up the color a bit too. Seems a bit heavy for Spring.
I love your no changing rule! I’m not sure I could pull it off, so you are impressing me!
it’s easy!! well, sort of.
all of the stuff in my closet “goes” together, so it shouldn’t be so hard to come up with good outfits. and by not allowing myself to change, i’m preventing the critical side of my brain from saying stupid stuff like “you can’t wear that out of the house”…
I think you look fab in this dress. It’s a great outfit on you!
As for the hair, what about a subtle change, like a more sideswept bang? It would be worth a try and then if you don’t like it, you’re already on your way to growing it out! Oh, and I like your idea of a lighter color for spring/summer. I always do the same thing.
