What I’m wearing:
James Perse Vintage long sleeve v-neck in black: honestly, the vintage styles are my least favorite JP pieces (I have three). I can’t pinpoint exactly why I don’t love them as much as others, but one reason is that they aren’t fitted at all, and kind of bunch up around my waist as a result.

TOMS Shoes in sparkly blue!! I love these so much. See my video review here, and to buy, visit TOMS Shoes online store and use code GRECHEN for 5% off.
i agree – i tried on some of the vintage fit tees at barneys coop and wasn’t really impressed. i’m looking forward to wearing my jp long racerback dress soon…not sure if it’s stretched out a bit from the hanger, but right now it seems a bit too long. do you ever hem any of your jp dresses/skirts?
miss sophie’s last blog post..the little laptop that could
i’ve never hemmed anything because the hem is always distressed or something so i’d have to do an original hem, and it doesn’t seem like it would turn out very well on non-denim. with my racerback dress, i had my tailor take up the straps an inch or so, which obviously shortens the dress, but i also liked the way it fit on me a bit better that way…maybe play around a bit with taking the straps in instead of hemming – it might help. i REALLY want to see a picture!!!!
