Ohhhh….Another Clare Viver creation to obsess over….and I do love a good duffel. And unlike her messenger bag (which I love), this one has organizational pockets inside (which I need). The pricepoint isn’t bad, and I bet this duffel is super-lightweight.

Oh man!!! Oh WOWZA! I wish I had waited to purchase this one instead of my messenger bag. Hmm….think I’ll still have a place to sleep tonight if I get this one, too? (It is amazing, and I don’t use that word lightly. Well, OK, so I do. But it is.)
do you like the messenger bag though? i think there’s room for both in your repertoire 😉 that is, if you can do it…they’re completely different styles, i feel like the messenger bag could be casual/travel chic, and the duffel is more structured, and “put-together”. i could also just be justifying having both LOL
I love it, but I always see something I like better. The “curse of the constant shopper.” Believe me, I cannot justify it right now (you little enabler, you!)
I fell in love with the Duffel when I first saw it in the store. They have (or had, not sure if it’s still there) this amazing royal blue color. Her new flagship store is beautiful — but gives me a headache because I get so overwhelmed and can’t make a decision. I’ve been planning my next Clare Vivier purchase ( I have the Clutch and Messenger), and while I’m probably going to end up with the Woven Simple Tote, now you’re making me want the Duffel. Damn.
damn. i’m going to have to make it out to LA sometime – besides jerome dreyfuss/isabel marant in paris, the clare vivier store is on my list of places to shop before i die 😉 i really love that duffel…the small croc embossed one especially, it just has that special touch…how was it in person?

It looks like they’re knocking off Alexander Wang’s Rocco. But I haven’t seen this in person — have you seen it, and how does it compare? Nice to see more fairly priced bags though – everything else seems to be pushing the 4 figures.
