Rami Kashou was always my favorite Project Runway designer; I really felt that he KNEW how to design for real women (not only models that Christian designed for) and had a sense of the business side of fashion. After all, he’s had his own line for several years (I’ve been posting about it for a while myself), and a showroom in LA. His final runway show was a tad disappointing, but overall, I still think he should have won.
Anyway, he hasn’t sulked for long, a few new pieces are available now at Maneater Threads. My favorite is this tulip skirt:
I COULD NOT make this work for me, it would just accentuate my hips, but if you have more of a straight body type and want to CREATE curves, this is the perfect skirt. It would look fabulous with a white v-neck t-shirt, as well as a beautiful silk blouse.
