CP Shades Linen tunic (small) | $40
Just because I felt like playing dress-up, and I know it’s more appealing to see the clothes on a person rather than a mannequin, AND I can’t believe some of these items are still available, I have a couple of posts with some of my favorite items at slowre right now. I also took quite a few new markdowns today; everyone else seems to be having Memorial Day sales…
My thoughts on some things:
I really love the color/style/shape of the gold Black Crane top, it would even be nice as a long sleeve layer in warmer weather. It does have some wool in it, but it’s rather lightweight. And the Blue Black Crane shirt is really lovely, and a size large, but runs small for Black Crane, so would fit a small/medium better.
And yes, those are the Nili Lotan pants I bought, and had for sale, then decided to keep, now am selling again. I tried to wear them, but they’re just too snug in my thighs with LOTS of room in the waist/hips, so they’re not that comfortable to sit in. They’re so good though, and a cotton/linen blend, which is great for warm weather. If you’re my size, but more of an hourglass shape, or even an apple, with “normal” sized legs, then these would fit you better than they fit me.
The CP Shades linen top is excellent, of course, but does not run big like a lot of CP Shades does. It fits me, but barely, although it will stretch with wear. I like the straighter fit of it though, and it would be great as a cover-up or slim layer.
Finally, I LOVE LOVE LOVE the James Perse faux wrap top, and it fits me well, even at the hips, but it would be better for someone with a larger bust. It requires a camisole or tape to keep the wrap portion closed (I would use tape), but I think the style is just so good…and sexy/comfortable. The skirt is wonderful – I don’t know what else to say about it. And the shoes…I love them so much, but they’re way too small on me…but they’re in great condition (cleaned and treated) and have hardly been worn.
