I’m currently really frustrated that I haven’t received this
from alexanderwang.com yet. I ordered it on 2/4 and never received any follow-up e-mail or shipment notification from them, although I know from the site that it was shipped (for free) via UPS. So, I’m just waiting. I’ve e-mailed customer care, but haven’t received an answer. (ugh.) This is why I usually only shop from Shopbop, Revolve or Endless for shoes (although I’ve just noticed that endless is only offering free overnight shipping on new items, 2-day shipping on older items. which is still okay. but I’m TOTALLY into instant gratification 🙂 )
So, I’m curious, how long can you wait for an online order to be delivered? I generally want my item within a few days, but if I know (I get some communication from the merchant) that it’s coming later, I can be patient. What about you? Do you always go for the free shipping option, no matter how long it takes, or do you pay for an upgrade? Leave a comment!

I’m still waiting for an preorder that I placed in October for a promised mid December shipment.
It seems that there were production problems.
The company’s name?
I’ll be kind enough not to say.
oh, man…was the card charged already? see, IMO, they shouldn’t charge you until the item is shipped…
i found out today that my AW top was back ordered. don’t know when i’ll get it, but they assured me they’d send me tracking info once it’s shipped. and yes, i’ve been charged for it already. ugh.
i hope yours is worth the wait!
no, the card wasn’t charged, and I did get the opportunity to cancel.
the company does take Paypal, however, and with any Paypal purchase you ARE immediately charged.
Grech, I love your picture!
thank you 🙂
I agree totally, Grechen, that online stores should NOT charge your credit card until the order is shipped. It’s like saying, “You don’t get anything for it, but I get your money! Ha ha ha(evil laugh)”
I, too, am much more selective these days about who I shop with.
Hayden Harnett does this all the time!
