Because I’ve been hanging on to the credit I earn from Shopbop (I display their widget in my sidebar and I earn gift certificates each month) I could place a substantial order. What I’m trying:
I’ve wanted to try agolde jeans for a while, and the 90’s jeans are appealing because they look truly “straight” and have just a basic, uniform wash. If you weren’t aware, agolde uses recycled cotton and/or organic cotton in some of their denim (not the jeans I got I don’t think) and aims for more sustainable & environmentally friendly manufacturing processes. We’ll see how they fit!
I could not resist that JP skirt!! Isn’t it interesting? I ordered the size 3 because I want it to fit lower on my hips and more loose than a fitted skirt; I think it will look better that way. We’ll see 🙂
Rachel Comey Steer pants – I am just really intrigued by these and added them to my cart at the last minute. I like that they’re not quite so high in the rise as the legion pants, and again, more straight. I have been trying to find a good pair of not-black-black denim for a while.
Finally…I’m trying an Enza Costa tee. I’ve been interested in these for years, and a few of you have asked me if I’ve ever tried them, so I thought it was time. I ordered the small, just because I don’t want it to be too long or loose around my middle. I hope it works on me!
Last, I really do need to replace a couple more pairs of leggings for Pure Barre, and I have a pair of hpe leggings I love (they fit really well, and don’t slide down – I don’t have to fidget with them AT ALL), so I decided to try this moon print pair. They look so cool!
A few more things I love/recommend buying with the coupon code:
James Perse – I have this surplus jacket and love it – the open-back skinny dress in “dapple” (light gray) is on sale for $136 in size 3 – I love all the tees, but the long-sleeve slub crewneck is one of my absolutely favorites of all time.
I highly recommend the Rachel Comey slim legion jeans – I have them in size 8 and did cut some length off to make them cropped on me, but they fit me beautifully. The high waist does make them a little challenging to sit in, but the more I wear them, the more they loosen up.
Beek robin crisscross slides (on sale!) – I love my Finch toe ring sandals; the arch support is brilliant, and the construction has stood up well to a year of wear.

I bought the rust-colored Baggu lens crossbody bag (https://www.shopbop.com/lens-crossbody-baggu/vp/v=1/1582183146.htm), which I had randomly been eyeing and 20% off sealed the deal (thanks!) I rarely buy bags, but a few months ago I saw something else in this shape and liked it. The something else was Italian and €€€€. I like the idea of Baggu– simple, no branding, no nonsense, decent quality– so I’m hoping that will cancel out what might be an overly trendy shape.
Plus, I’ll be in Italy in early November, and it seems like something that will work well during the daytime, as it looks big enough for a phone, a card case, and sunglasses. Plus, it will go with an olive corduroy trench coat that always feels right in Italy at that time of year. (Apparently my weakness is buying random things for very specific traveling situations or events.)
Cute bag! I love their new wide tote in that color . And I do that too- buy things for specific events or travel. It’s a thing…lol
