ICYMI | Garmentory + $20 Credit

In case you haven’t checked lately, or have missed my odes to Garmentory*, may I present to you my new favorite place to shop.

I was thinking as I was browsing the other day (sometimes I’m there a couple times a day, I’ll be honest) how amazing a resource Garmentory has turned into as it has grown, especially in the last few months. When Garmentory first launched, it was more focused on their “make an offer” feature for items that were on deep sale, which didn’t appeal to me much. They still have that, but now the focus seems to be more on featuring new items from exciting independent designers. Garmentory has evolved as more and more smaller designers and boutiques have joined the ranks, they’ve added a “feed” so you can customize it with your favorites, and a “hearts” section to easily keep track of things you’re interested in.

Now, and this is the best thing, via Garmentory, it’s a lot easier to find multiple places to buy smaller designers. For example, I used to compile lists of small boutiques where you could buy Black Crane, Shaina Mote, or other independent designers I love. Now, I can just point to Garmentory, which contains a lot of those resources, AND features a shared shopping cart so you can purchase from multiple boutiques and designers in one cart.

Of course, I love the aesthetics of the site, and how pleasant it is to shop; it’s calming, clean, easy, and minimal. Certainly, it reflects a very “Kinfolk” look and feel, which sometimes is enough, already, but still mostly appealing.
