What are you doing tonight? I always go very low-key for New Year’s Eve with a simple family dinner, then falling asleep around 10:00 PM LOL. We have a great year ahead of us in 2010 so I’m going to do everything possible to make it until midnight and enjoy the champagne, and maybe I’ll dress up just a bit anyway…
No matter what you do, I hope you have a safe & fun night and an even better 2010. In her last post of 2009, Madeline Rhodes, our resident expert Polyvore stylist, shows us how to create a special look for under $100:
True or False? We’re making plans for New Year’s Eve, and we find ourselves oh so desperately longing for a fresh, shiny, eye catching outfit… but we are almost totally broke after spending close to everything we had during the holiday season. New Year’s Eve is when we want to feel bold, beautiful, shiny and new– it’s the moment where we ring in the new, exciting 2010, along with all of our new goals, dreams, and wishes. It’s the special night that calls for those killer sequin stilettos that you don’t know where else to debut, or that bold, eye-catching dress that has been standing proudly in your favorite store window for the past few weeks. Here are three looks for you to welcome the new year in that won’t break the bank. They’re all under $100 with a few bucks to spare. Happy New Year!
