Caudalie Paris 25% off at Skinstore through 7/15 with code 25NOW
I’ve spent all morning over at Grechen’s Codes posting some REALLY good coupon codes/sales, but wanted to pop back over here and let you know in case you don’t follow me over there. Because, really, at least two of these are too good to pass up:
25% off at Skinstore with code 25NOW through 7/15
15% off sale items at Inhabit with code SUPER
If I were you, I’d get over to Inhabit ASAP before more sizes sell out, then come back here. Or if you have any questions about fit/sizing/styles for Inhabit leave a comment here and I’ll try to answer. I’ve been a HUGE Inhabit fan for many many years, owning lots of pieces. Sadly, I’ve had to sell/give away quite a few of them after losing weight, but I’m slowly building my collection back up. In case you missed it, I gave away an Inhabit cashmere sweater earlier this year – here’s a picture of it on me, and here it is on sale, for $156. I am wearing a medium, and think it runs a little large.
The Donegal outdoor pieces KILL me, especially this cardigan, and I have a cardigan that is very similar (maybe identical?) to this one that’s several years old that I wear frequently in just-a-little-cool weather. Anyway, please leave a comment or ask a question about anything if you have one. All sales are final!! Inhabit is notorious for color confusion too (colors online don’t always match exactly in person), but I’ve ordered many things unsure about color and was always happy with them.
Now, back to the Skinstore coupon code. I know I’ve mentioned this in the past, but I shop Skinstore now exclusively for my Caudalie Paris items since they always have at least a 20% off coupon code. Actually, this is the first time I’ve seen 25% off there. MANY many brands are excluded from the code, but Caudalie, Fekkai & David Kirsch are not, so I at least stock up on those when they have codes.
I’ve used the David Kirsch vanilla protein shakes for several years – drinking two of these a day for a while helped kickstart my weight loss back in 2013, and thanks to drinking one almost daily now, they’ve helped keep my weight off, something I’ve never been able to do until recently. Now, I add some frozen blueberries to make it more interesting, but I really appreciate how filling these are, and portable. Expensive though…which is why I always get them at a discount.
A month or so ago, I picked up a sample of the new Caudalie tinted moisturizer to try (I use light), since I’m a big Caudalie fan, and loved it so much after using up the sample that I bought one. I’ve used it daily for several weeks and can honestly tell a difference in my skintone, which typically I do, when I use any Caudalie product consistently. I used to use the vinoperfect radiance serum, but stopped because it’s expensive, but I noticed a difference with that product as well. I’ve never been let down by any Caudalie product, and if I had to use only one skincare line, it would be Caudalie, for sure, but I like to try others every once in a while!
If you’ve never tried Caudalie, start with this favorites kit, which is RIDICULOUSLY affordable at $24 and includes a travel-sized beauty elixir (one of their cult products), hand lotion, cleanser, and lip balm (my holy grail lip balm…). I buy these every time I place an order at Skinstore and keep them on hand in my office bathroom and for travel. Seriously. The price with the discount is CRAZY good. Too good to pass up π
And finally. I’m officially selling my Rachel Comey moon wedges (do an image search on google for “rachel comey moon wedges” and LOTS of pictures will come up, including all my outfit pictures with them). They are a size 8/38 and with the crepe sole NOT the wood sole. They are NOT the low version. They are in excellent condition; I’ve only worn them 5 or so times. I’m asking $175 including USPS shipping. Send me an email (grechen – at- grechenscloset.com) if you’re interested!
Also, I’m selling my Black Crane wide linen culottes in size medium (more details at La Garconne). I have to. I thought they would be awesome, and the perfect linen pant for me, but the more I try to wear them, the more I realize they’re just not. They are a fabulous linen pant, but just not great for me; I need something not so wide. I’d like $100 including USPS priority mail shipping for them. Please contact me if you’re interested or have questions!
So, I’ve had a bit of an Inhabit problem in the past, and am embarrassed to say that I have several of the items on the sale site. I’ll watch this thread in case anyone has questions about the listed items. I REALLY want the drapey linen shirt and the open back tee. Okay, and the featherweight cardigan.
I will say that the cashmere pants look odd, but they are so much fun to wear! And the cotton gauze woven scarf is AMAZING. I wish I had it in poppy. I have it in yellow, and have to sell it because (it turns out) yellow looks horrible on me. I agree that the final sale it worth the risk because the items are so lovely…though be warned that they are ridiculously hard to resell for some strange reason.
oh! i’ve always wanted those cashmere pants, but they do look SO STRANGE. and seriously. i’m afraid of wearing cashmere pants around the house….afraid to “ruin” them. although i have no problem wearing my older cashmere cardigans…
thanks for your input π
That Caudalie tinted moisturizer sounds awesome! I’ve been casually hunting for a new tinted moisturizer, so I think I’m going to have to order that :).
I’ve never heard of Inhabit, but checking out their site, it looks like they have beautiful items. I’m digging the Cashmere Chainette Open Front Hooded Cardigan (I have a hood problem . . .), and may have to order it.

definitely try the caudalie tinted moisturizer – it has the best coverage i’ve found for tinted moisturizer. you don’t need very much at ALL. and it’s correcting as well. i used to use the laura mercier version but always had to add more moisturizer to it. with this one, i don’t have to…
i’ve worn inhabit forever – probably almost 10 years – and i’ve loved everything. found it to be very good quality and last forever, well, except when it doesn’t fit anymore – then i give it away π that hooded cardigan is GLORIOUS! i used to have a thing for hoods too !!
Inhabit is all over the place at stores out here in “The Hamptons”! Lucky me? Not really, considering they only carry the really expensive high-end pieces. So the sale WOULD be great, if I hadn’t just gone (briefly) crazy on clothes at various online places. I need to learn to plan better! And remind myself that I’m a work in progress. π
I can’t look at Inhabit’s website ever again. It always makes me want to throw out everything I already own. So knowing this, I just don’t ever go there anymore. But man oh man, do they have some gorgeous stuff.
i wouldn’t want you to throw out everything you already own!! they do have some great pieces…for when you’re ready to replace π
yeah, i see inhabit here and there, but never on sale at inhabit’s own prices, and not nearly so many pieces. most of the retail accounts carry their very basic cashmere, and usually at full-price!
yes, work in progress π
did you get your JP cardigan yet?
i’ve been going a little crazy lately too, as you can see…as long as i’m taking more steps forward than backwards, i think it’s okay!
I should have said, after looking at Inhabit’s stuff…I want to toss out everything I own that isn’t Inhabit. I love their esthetic & the one cardigan I have of theirs is just so unbelievably perfect.
Not yet! I can hardly wait…I’ve even been creating outfits on Polyvore using similar items!
I’ll tell you when it gets here.
I realized today that I felt “all out of whack” and I believe it’s because I haven’t stuck to my “minimal” plan for a couple of weeks and I’m feeling disorganized. I like the order much better, so back on track for me!
yes, i think i got what you meant π
Just placed my first ever order of Caudalie…can’t wait to receive it! — Pam
oh! what did you order?? hope you love it π please let me know!
