Okay…hear me out. Generally, I have been adamantly anti-flatform. BUT, to be fair, that was back in the day of the platform thong sandals (never again), not the more “sophisticated” flat platform sandals out now, so, I’m wondering if there IS a way to do them right. I mean, who doesn’t love the comfort of flats but with a little height?
I can see a NICE pair of flatforms (any of the ones above) with a long skirt just to give a few more inches, but still be relatively easy to walk in. I wouldn’t wear a pair with a short skirt (although maybe with skinny jeans that go all the way to the ankle) because my calves/thighs are thick, and a woman’s legs always look longer & leaner in a traditional heel.
What do you think? Will you rock a pair of flatforms this Spring? Or are they always a no in your book?
You know how I feel about these shoes. Yuck.
what? you mean i didn’t convince you otherwise? π
I’ve just never been able to get into the flatform shoe, plus it just wouldn’t work when I have a flat foot anyway (yes, just one foot is flat, my feet are weird). I’ve seen one with a slight curve that looked semi-cute, but I still wouldn’t be inclined to spend money on them.
No no no no no. Did I mention no? HATE the look.
Honestly, they don’t really look all that comfortable to me. I’ll stick with either flats or platforms (small ones), but not both at the same time.
hmmm…i guess i’m not converting anyone over to the flatform am i? π
aww thats too bad but i guess flatforms arent for everyone. I loved them already though- gives the height without the strain on the knees haha
Ok, I’ve been on the fence about flatforms. Love that they give the height but really, they don’t do much for the leg like a heel of some sort would. And I’m guessing the men wouldn’t find it a very sexy look…if you dress for them…
