Wait…don’t leave because you saw the word “poncho!” it’s a PENDLETON poncho, which means it’s awesome & timeless, and way more stylish than the ponchos that were trendy 6 years ago (remember them? The ones that Jessica Simpson made popular? even I had one, I’m not proud to admit. It was actually close to the color of the Pendleton poncho!!). And this poncho has a tie belt, so it’s much more flattering, especially with a pair of long flared jeans. Anyway, I can’t stop drooling over the color…

I have never been one for a poncho, not even when they were really big back in Jessica Simpson’s heyday, but after trying one on in J. Crew, I think I want one.
I think that waist-tie feature would be a great feature to look for since most are a bit too shapeless.

omg, i am so embarrassed to admit that i bought one of those stupid ponchos, i think it was by lisa kline, and it wasn’t cheap!!! why i was remotely influenced by jessica simpson i have NO idea. i’m kind of mortified by it.
the ones lately are a bit more “modern” and hopefully more flattering than the ponchos of old.
